Badik and West Badik are fields that were developed by Pertamina Hulu Energi Nunukan Company at WK Nunukan, North Kalimantan. The Badik and West Badik Fields were approved by POD-I by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources on March 30, 2016. Badik and West Badik have potential gas reserves that can be produced up to an economic limit of 212.66 Bscf and condensate reserves of 3.54 MMbc.
Based on the POD-I evaluation of Badik and West Badik Field, production will be carried out in 2 stages of plateau, namely the first plateau in the initial 5 years with a flow rate of 60 MMscfd and a second plateau in the next 5 years with a flow rate of 30 MMscfd. This field is planned to be the first gas in the 2nd Quarter of 2022.
