Dril-Thru™
The Dril-Thru Completion System is a unique mudline suspension system designed to accept subsea tubing hangers and subsea completion trees without the use of adapters. This system simplifies the operations when it is known in advance that the well will be completed with a subsea tree. The system design lends itself to greater structural integrity and pressure containing capabilities.
System Components
The Dril-Quip Dril-Thru Completion System includes the following components:
- Conductor Buttweld Sub
- 20" Mudline Hanger and Running Tool
- 13-5/8" Wellhead Hanger Housing and Running Tool
- 13-5/8" x 9-5/8" Split-Ring Casing Hanger and Seal Assembly
- Subsea Tubing Hanger System
- Quik-Clamp™ Tree Connector
- SingleBore Subsea Tree
System Features
The Dril-Quip Dril-Thru Completion System package features field-tested technology that incorporates the following:
- Simple installation
- Can be installed through conventional BOP equipment
- Hanger/housing can accommodate a production casing hanger and tubing hanger
- Internal lockdown profile for positive lockdown of tubing hanger
- Concentric bore tubing hanger system available with metal-to-metal sealing valve for annulus access
- Capable of handling multiple down holes
- Functions including electric transducers and smart completion
- Metal-to-metal seal capability
- Quik-Clamp™ or Radial Bolt connection provides easy make up
- Field-proven performance
- Available with pressure ratings up to, and including, 10,000 psi
