Mudline Conversion
Subsea completions on Mudline Suspension Systems are available from Dril-Quip. The Mudline Conversion System is a system of components that provides an economic and efficient method of adapting a mudline suspension system to a subsea production tree.
System Components
The Dril-Quip Mudline Conversion System includes the following components:
- Subsea Tubing Hanger System with metal-to-metal sealing
- Tubing Head
- Stab-in Tie-back Tool
- Bit Guide
- Radial Bolt Tree Adapter
- Subsea Tree (block valves or stack valves)
System Features
The Dril-Quip Mudline Conversion System package features field-tested technology that incorporates the following:
- Simple, diver-assisted installation
- Vertical adjustment and adapter ring provide rigid support
- Tubing head provides side outlet for annulus monitoring
- Internal lockdown profile for positive lockdown of tubing hanger
- Allows installation of subsea tubing hanger through riser and BOP stack for complete BOP control
- Radial Bolt connection provides easy make up
- Ported for downhole safety valve and chemical injection
