Pertamina’s Speech for Chevron Pacific Indonesia

Pertamina held an online discussion in the form of a Townhall Meeting with all CPI workers on Thursday (03/06) ahead of the transfer of management of the Rokan Block from PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) to Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) on August 9, 2021. President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati congratulated all CPI workers who will change their status to Pertamina Officers. "I welcome the 2,757 employees of Chevron Pacific Indonesia, prospective employees of the Pertamina Group," said Nicke.

President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi as Upstream Subholding Budiman Parhusip said that later the Rokan Block would be managed by PHR under the auspices of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi as Upstream Subholding. Currently, PHR manages Upstream Work Areas and Assets in the Sumatra Region, known as Regional 1 - Sumatra Subholding Upstream. "With this Regionalization system, between Work Areas and Assets that are close to each other, especially Sumatra in this case, field optimization and effectiveness of operational development can be carried out. So that the joining of CPI Workers will also open up more career development opportunities," said Budiman.

PHR President Director Jaffee Arizon Suardin added an explanation regarding PHR which is also Regional 1 – Sumatra in Pertamina's Upstream Subholding that PHR not only manages the Rokan block but also manages all Pertamina blocks or work areas in Sumatra. "The focus is that we want to grow significantly and sustainably by focusing on all the potential that can still be developed. Business Continuity to maintain and even increase production as well as safety and reliability remains the main priority in carrying out the work. Pertamina through PHR will also ensure the transfer of operatorship runs smoothly so that we can complete the program in 2021 and grow significantly in the following years," said Jaffee.
