Asap Merah Kido Field Development Project (AMK) located in WK Kasuri, West Papua Province, which is operated by Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd. Through the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources letter on April 19, 2018, POD-I Asap Merah Kido Field has been approved.
AMK Field Development is expected to be able to producing estimated gas reserves (recoverable reserves) 1,493.65 Bscf (economic limit), from 2P risked initial gas inplace (GIIP) of 1,735.2 Bscf, with a flow rate of 170 million standard cubic feet per day. Besides producing gas, the AMK Field also has the potential for condensate production of 4.13 MMstb (economic limit) with a flow rate 737 barrels of condensate per day. This production is planned to be conducted through the drilling of 10 development wells consists of 6 re-entry wells, 3 new development wells, and 1 (one) step-out well. AMK Field Development is planned to be able achieved first production in the first quarter of 2023 with plateau production for 17 years.
